Unix Server Specialist with Tivoli experience

You will be a part of a team operating of a huge Sun Solaris System landscape. You might have a background as a Solaris specialist.
Experience in either CA Unicenter TNG or Tivoli Workload Scheduler is preferred and a good knowledge of Unix (Solaris), shell scripting etc.

You must be experienced in installing Solaris OS and upgrade of Solaris 8 and Solaris 9 to Solaris 10. You must have done application installation but without configuration, and you must have good communication skills, so you can document your work and follow procedures according to customers guidelines and rules.

TSM, SAN & Legato backup/restore specialists

Our customer runs a huge datacenter and have a common backup and recovery system landscape. They are looking for two consultants in the backup and recovery area, experienced in LANless and client/server, backup and recovery of filesystems and databases (Oracle RMAN). You should have good knowledge of IBM Tivoli Storage Manager and have you also worked with serverless, it will be considered as an advantage.
The consultant must have several years of experience working with back up systems from Legato.

For all 3 positions is expected that you have some years of experience from back up and recovery in large system landscapes, you must have the ability to work in teams and to follow customers standard procedures for doing backups etc.

A good knowledge of system integration could also be an advantage, but is not required. Maybe you have knowledge of ITIL.

You must be able to work in teams as well as individually. You are used to working in a hectic environment and with tight time frames. Your are proud of your technical knowledge and put efforts in delivering as high quality as possible in your daily work.

SAN Administrator

Our customer runs severel application sub-projects. These projects have a heavy use of SAN storage.
The SAN Administrator will assist the sub-projects in planning, and replanning the SAN usage, to get the right setup, related to allocations, sharing, deallocation, stop using spanned disks, right use of big and small LUNs, right failover solutions, capacity planning etc.
You must also work as a connection point between the sub-projects and the customers HW department and Service Management, while excellent communications skills is required.

It is required that you have working experience of IBM DS8000 Storage for distributed environments. Some knowledge of Operating Systems like Windows and IBM AIX would be preferred.
